Join the New CMozMaker Live Stream, Every Wednesday

Starting Wednesday, October 7, I'll be live every Wednesday at: 12:00 pm Atlantic · 11:00 am Eastern · 8:00 am Pacific · 4:00 pm UK · 8:30 pm India [opens 15 minutes before]

I have some news I'm really excited about: the CMozMaker live stream is now a weekly show, every Wednesday. It's a chance to hang out, ask me anything, and talk about what you're making.

When and where

Every Wednesday on the CMozMaker YouTube channel. The link above is the live page, so bookmark it and pop in whenever you can. You don't need to stay for the whole thing.

What we'll do

  • Ask your questions. Stuck on wiring, code, a PlatformIO error, or which conductive fabric suits your project? Bring it along. Nothing is too basic. I taught computer science and interaction for many years, and the best questions are usually the ones people are nervous to ask.
  • Talk projects. Share what you're building, whether it's a first blinking LED or a full wearable. I'd love to see it and help you get unstuck.
  • Join in the fun. Expect a relaxed, friendly maker hangout. Chat with other people building wearables and e-textiles, trade ideas and swap tips.

How to get the most out of it

A few things that make troubleshooting live much easier:

  • Tell me which board you're using (for example an ESP32 dev module or a QT Py) and whether you're in PlatformIO or the Arduino IDE.
  • Describe what you expected to happen and what actually happened. A photo of your wiring helps a lot.
  • Copy any error message exactly as it appears.

Catch up before Wednesday

If you're new to the channel, these are good places to start. My ESP32 OLED project gets a screen working in under five minutes, and 9 wearable tech project starters is great if you need an idea. Want to build along with the exact parts from a video? The ESP32 + OLED Video Kit has everything in one box, and our conductive fabrics and e-textile supplies are there for anything you'd like to sew.

See you Wednesday

Bring your questions, your half-finished projects and your curiosity. Save the live stream link, tell a maker friend, and I'll see you in the chat.
