Shieldex® Bern is a lightweight, non-woven silver-plated fabric engineered for superior electrical conductivity and EMI shielding. This unique conductive textile features a non-woven structure that makes it exceptionally soft, flexible, and easy to work with — ideal for wearable electronics, e-textiles, and electromagnetic shielding applications where comfort and performance are essential.

Unlike traditional woven conductive fabrics, Shieldex® Bern features a non-woven construction that provides a softer hand feel and more uniform conductivity across the entire surface. The silver-plated fibres create a highly conductive network that’s perfect for applications requiring gentle skin contact, such as medical electrodes, biometric sensors, and comfortable wearable devices.
