Make your own computer glove to give you HEX codes for any item around you! Send the HEX code straight to your computer.
Instructable here for code & how to build this project!
This is a great kit to practice your wearable skills and make a project you’ll use time and time again. This is an intermediate kit. We recommend looking at the Instructable first so you know what this build requires in terms of skills.
The video shows a version of this glove with a round colour area.
I’ve used a Flora board in this circuit. It also has a colour sensor that senses colours, then sends them to RGB pixels to display a closeness to that colour — and displays the HEX code on an OLED display.
Code is uploaded for both Flora and Circuit Playground variants (there are a couple of differences because of the pixels).
Also check out the Hattie Field Pack for another intermediate wearable kit, and The Ultimate Guide to Informed Wearables for more project ideas and tutorials.
