It’s true magic to see. This comes with a driver board which you power at 5 V, and the coil wirelessly lights up your LEDs — no wires between the coil and the LEDs at all. This could be part of a really fun wearable project.
The coil is fairly small so you get about 1–3" of vertical space to work within. The closer your lights are to the coil, the brighter they will be. They can be inside or outside of the coil and they will still work. Battery not included.
Based on magnetic resonance coupling technology — the same principle as wireless charging. The transmitter coil creates a non-radiative magnetic field that excites resonance in the tiny receiver coils on each LED bead, transferring energy through air, paper, or plastic at ultra-low power consumption.
