Details
A small rechargeable 3.7V lithium polymer battery with bare black and red wires and no connector, ready to solder straight to a charging board or your circuit. At just 5.5 grams and 4 mm thin, it is light enough for wearables and has about 5 times the capacity of our 110mAh battery.
- Voltage: 3.7V nominal (4.2V fully charged)
- Capacity: 600mAh
- Model: 402530
- Size: about 30 mm long x 25 mm wide x 4 mm thick
- Weight: 5.5 g
- Leads: bare black (negative) and red (positive) wires, no connector
How long will it run?
As a guide, for a strip of 10 WS2812B (NeoPixel) LEDs driven by a small ESP32 dev board (roughly 80mA while running):
- Gentle animations at low brightness: about 2.5 to 3 hours
- Bright colour effects: about 1 to 1.5 hours
- All 10 LEDs at full white: about 50 minutes
These are estimates. Real run time depends on your board, brightness and effects.
Charging it
Pair it with our Lithium Battery Charging Board, a tiny USB-C charger with built-in protection that is small enough to sew into a garment. Solder the battery wires to the board, red to positive and black to negative.
Safety and shipping
- Check polarity before connecting anything. Confirm red is positive with a multimeter if you are unsure.
- Keep the two bare wires apart so they cannot touch and short. Cover each with heat shrink or tape as soon as you cut or solder them.
- Do not puncture, crush or short the battery.
- Limit of 3 batteries per order in total, due to postal regulations for lithium batteries. Each is securely wrapped for shipping.
