Lovely copper!
Our sample size is on reduction, so you can get started in your conductive fabric journey.
Its conductivity ensures that your circuits will function at their best, making it a must-have material for any DIY electronics enthusiast. Whether you're working on a small project or a larger one, this fabric will provide the perfect solution for your conductivity needs.
With its high-quality construction and versatility, you'll love experimenting with this fabric and exploring new possibilities in electronics.
- A blend of copper and nickel makes it a lovely fabric to use for conductive projects. Use it to make your own touch buttons, and create any shape you want - it's easy to cut and sew this material.
You can also iron on double-sided bonding Bond-a-web interfacing so that you can then iron it in place while you sew.
Look through the photos to see how it drapes. This is a slightly stiff medium-thickness fabric, thickness: 0.06mm. It is softer than other copper fabrics I've come across.
You can get a little sample piece 10 x 10 cm or go a little larger and try a 20 x 20 cm, which is like getting 4 of the 10 x 10 pieces. See the photo with the 2 pieces side-by-side so you can decide which is better for your circuit. Or we now have a whopping 30 x 30cm piece too!
Also, we've introduced a larger piece for someone wanting to create longer traces or patterns, say along the length of an arm or leg, or around the body. We sell 28 x 100cm pieces too.
⚠️Notes: Don't scrub or rub the fabric. You can iron it on medium heat and do not leave the iron on the fabric for long periods of time. There may be some discoloration with the copper over time or if used outside. This item comes folded for the 1m size, and flat for the other sizes.
With this copper conductive fabric, the possibilities for your next project are endless.
This can be used even for EMI/RF shielding.
