The classic HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensor, in the newer 3.3V-5V version so it works directly with 3.3V boards like the ESP32 as well as 5V Arduino boards. It sends out ultrasonic pulses and times the echo to measure the distance to an object, with no contact needed. Great for proximity triggers, obstacle detection, robotics and interactive projects.
