The WS2812B Sampler Pack puts eight different WS2812B (NeoPixel-compatible) formats in one bag, so you can test rings, strips, modules and single pixels on the same ESP32 or Arduino before committing to a bigger order. All of them run on 5V with a single data pin and work with FastLED, Adafruit NeoPixel and our CMozGlow library.
What's in the pack
- 1 x 8-LED WS2812 ring – a compact circle for badges, pendants and spinners
- 1 x NIBBLES module – our rectangular 4-LED WS2812B board. Wires and terminals are not included, so you solder your own connections
- 1 x 8-pixel board rectangle - great for feedback in your system
- 1 x Starter Strip, 10 pixels (5050 size) – a short flexible strip, no wires or solder (colour of PCB may vary)
- 1 x 10 LED mini flexible strip (3535 size!) – very small, cuttable, easy to tuck into seams and trims
- 1 x single sewable WS2812B pixel – one addressable pixel on a sewable pad board
- 1 x single solder WS2812B pixel – one addressable pixel on a solderable pad board
- 1 x WS2812D 5mm 4-pin LEDs – one clear or one diffused, for through-hole style projects
- Bonus; random sticker! Wasteland, Computer Culture, or Japanese themes
Good for
- Choosing the right LED format before a big build
- Classrooms, workshops and maker meetups
- Wearables and fashion tech prototyping
- Gifts for new makers
Note: wires, a microcontroller and a power source are not included. Some soldering is needed for NIBBLES and the ring. Pair with our silicone wire and an ESP32 board to get started. Also, the WS2812b may be on white or black circuit backing.
