These slim strips shine sideways instead of up, so the light hugs an edge: along a strap, a hem, a seam or the rim of a display. Each LED is individually addressable, so you can colour every pixel separately. A fun, unusual light source for wearables and small builds.

Details
Choose a black or white circuit base. Supplied as a bare strip with no wires or solder, so you add your own. The pads are small, so it can be trickier to solder than a standard strip.
- 10 × side-emitting RGB LEDs (4020 size, SK6812 chip, WS2812B-style) as one strip
- Individually addressable, single data line
- 5 V power supply
- Strip is about 5 mm wide, around 70 mm long (144 LEDs per metre)
- Works with Arduino, ESP32, FastLED and NeoPixel-style libraries
- No weather protection - but I often place them in heat shrink!
